Happy First Birthday Elle!

We gave Elle a Magna-Doodle and she already loves to draw with it. (this is Elle's new excited face)

We have been celebrating Elle's birthday this weekend and all I can say is that this little girl is LOVED. My mom came down to celebrate her birthday so we had her party on Friday, even though her birthday was on Thursday. We had chicken pillows for dinner (on of Elle's favorites), opened presents and had birthday cake. I was a little nervous about making her cake. Who knew the pressure that comes with a first birthday cake. It was a little crumblie (is that a word?) but made with it love :). Zach helped Elle put her hands in the cake and she went to town. I thought we were in for a show, but that was all that she wanted. She managed to crawl through the cake a few times and then was ready for a bath. It was fun night for her. We got some fun footage on our video camera and if I get really ambitious I will put that up.
