I'm still thankful!

with all the hustle and bustle in our house, i feel like i've neglected thanksgiving. it was perfect in every way. i guess i just need some closure to the momentous event.

so here it is.


we decided to stay home for thanksgiving. we invited over some friends and enjoyed our feast together.

it was perfect in every way. i was so nervous as i was preparing food that it wouldn't turn out just right. but it did. there were still mistakes in my preparation. too much of this or not enough of that.


but i was thankful. thankful to have food. thankful to have family to prepare it for. thankful for friends. thankful for my moms and aunts and sisters and grandmas that were willing to let me call more times than i can count. thankful to finally feel at home here. thankful for a special day to remember how blessed i really am.

so even though there were mistakes, i am thankful for my thanksgiving day.
