we just finished watching general conference and what an amazing spirit that was felt. i am sitting here thinking now of all that i must do and improve upon and the best part about it is that i don't feel overwhelmed, but uplifted. it is amazing the opportunity we have to reflect on our life and then to become better. to become more.

elle fell asleep during the last part of conference. she wanted to see President Monson so badly. after conference was over, i quietly turned off the tv as to not wake her up. she rustled by my moving and asked where conference was. i told her that it was finished and that she could go back to sleep. in a somewhat deranged state, she started crying saying, "but i want conference." :)

i am grateful for the opportunity that we have had to listen to a prophet of the Lord this weekend. i am so grateful to know that we have a Father in Heaven who loves us and who sends guidance through his prophet, even Thomas S. Monson. I sit now in a quiet house, other than the gentle hum of Elle's snoore, grateful for the opportunity to learn and to grow. grateful to know that the Lord is mindful of me and my family. grateful to have a prophet on the earth today!
