This is Bob.
He is our prize fish...our first family pet.
Elle won him at the school carnival...all by herself.
It was a proud parent moment.
So now we have a fish in our family. Every morning we go and make sure Bob is enjoying his stay at our house. Elle then proceeds to ask him if he had a good sleep, if he likes swimming, etc.
She loves Bob.
I find myself loving Bob a little too.
and even though I know that chances of Bob staying for a lengthy time are little... I can't help but root for him.
Hopefully we will all be okay if Bob takes a permanent "vacation" (Forest Gump style).

Elle is so BIG! She's not a baby, she's a little lady! I can't believe it. She'll be graduating from high school in a few posts... Miss you and hope you're doing grrreat! :)
Congratulations on your first family pet...it IS a big deal! I had a cute phone conversation with Elle yesterday. We talked about nursery...she had fun, she played with friends, she sang songs, she had a snack, she shared toys! :)
